BRIEFING ON SARAWAK YOUNG DESIGNERS (SayD’SignersSarawak) PROGRAM AT KOLEJ KOMUNITI, MIRI, SARAWAK PRESS RELEASE

STIDC, through its wholly-owned subsidiary company, Sarawak Design Centre (Saradec) has conducted a briefing session to the top management team led by Encik Hazatta bin Morshidi, the Director of Kolej Komuniti Miri on 6th January 2022, as part of an effort by Saradec to expand its collaboration with other academic higher institution which offer design based subjects for SayD’SignerSarawak future intake. The briefing, conducted by Puan Dayang Nena binti Abang Bruce, Chief Executive Officer of Saradec, which was also attended by 32 final year students of the Kolej received positive response and shown great interest from the top management and the students to participate in Saradec’s Sarawak Young Designers Program.

The Sarawak Young Designers (SayD’SignersSarawak) program is a training program developed by STIDC in collaboration with UNIMAS and Fakultas Seni Rupa dan Desain (FSRD), Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Bandung Indonesia since 2018. To date, 32 fresh graduates from UNIMAS have been trained with 21 of them have completed the two-year training program. Effective January 2022, the program is being implemented by Saradec Management Sdn Bhd.
