Sarawak Timber Industry Development Corporation

Responsible for the planning and to make recommendations as to the methods, measures and policies to facilitate the improvement of the existing timber industry and establishment of new industries.

This Division is also responsible for the issuance of timber mill licences and registration, STLVS certificate for Principle 5 (Mill Operations) and Principle 6 (Trade and Customs), Process ICC/ICA (Manufacturing Licence) applications and Compilation of data on timber industry in Sarawak.

Consists of three (2) Sections:-

	■Responsible for the registration of timber industry in Sarawak in line with the requirement of The Sarawak Timber Industry Development Corporation Ordinance
	1973 and Regulations thereunder.
