STIDC Enables Tanjung Manis Service Centre
15 JANUARY 2026
STIDC had the honour of being directly involved in the preparation and completion of the Tanjung Manis Administration Centre during today’s official working visit by the State Secretary, YB Datuk Amar Haji Mohamad Abu Bakar Bin Marzuki, and his delegation.
This visit emphasised the Sarawak Government’s continued commitment to strengthening rural development and enhancing public service delivery, especially in strategic growth areas like Tanjung Manis.
The programme, which also featured the newly appointed Deputy State Secretary, Datuk Felicia Tan, focused on the handover of the Administration Centre Building, which is set to commence full operations soon.
As the implementing agency, STIDC played an active role in delivering this facility, envisioned as an integrated Public Service Delivery Centre that houses multiple government agencies under one roof. This approach brings essential services closer to local communities, reduces the need for long-distance travel, and ensures faster, more efficient service delivery for the people.
STIDC fully supports close inter-agency collaboration to facilitate a smooth transition, prompt occupancy, and immediate operational readiness, enabling the facility to deliver its benefits to the rakyat without delay.
STIDC extends its sincere appreciation to the The Right Honourable Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg and the State Government for their clear vision and unwavering commitment to advancing Tanjung Manis and the wider Rajang Valley region through inclusive and sustainable development.
Also present during the visit was YB Datuk Haji Len Talif Salleh, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Urban Development and Kuala Rajang assemblyman.
