STIDC AIDILFITRI CELEBRATION AT ITS NEWLY COMPLETED GLULAM CONCOURSE
 
Kuching, 17 April 2026 – Sarawak Timber Industry Development Corporation (STIDC) hosted its Majlis Ramah Tamah Aidilfitri PUSAKA 2026, welcoming over 600 guests at the newly completed Concourse Area, Wisma Sumber Alam.
 
The event was graced by YB Datuk Amar Haji Awang Tengah Ali Hasan, Deputy Premier of Sarawak and Chairman of STIDC.
 
A key highlight was the official opening of the Glulam Building Structure—an 8-metre-tall showcase of Sarawak’s sustainable timber innovation using Belian and Keruing through advanced glulam technology.
 
This milestone reflects STIDC’s commitment to advancing eco-friendly construction and the future of Mass Engineered Timber (MET).
